that it may be beneficial for my health to escape the cold of a winter for one season, for the good which I gained in the Summer has always been lost again in the bad season of the year. Dr. Chambers & [[unclear]] wish therefore that I should try for once a Southern Climate to give me the chance of improving my health instead of constantly getting fresh attacks in the winter which make me waste [[unclear]]. I shall not embark till the beginning of Octbre. & hope to come back in April or May. I thank you for your inquiries after my sister who is quite well again as well as her eldest Son, who had been dangerously ill too at Rome. They are now with the rest of their Family at Naples The last month was very painful to my feelings particularly so as long as I was in Town & [[underline]] hear'd so much of the Festivities [[/underline]] which took place there & ill suited my feelings.
