Dear Daniell, Yours No: 17 reached me the day before yesterday and I returned the enclosed signed as usual: I also send a letter open for you to read and which you will give to Coates: it is my ideas on the Farm for the next season and some questions to him. I cannot have any objection to to employing Hipperson on my return provided the horses are good and the drivers [[underline]] careful [[/underline]] and [[underline]] sober [[/underline]]: the failure of Millington astonishes me. I approve of the reasons and of the management of Coates in every respect: the creditors [[underline]] must [[/underline]] and [[underline]] will [[/underline]] submit to some delay on account of my [[underline]] present [[/underline]]
