Bushy House. Thursday Night. Dear Madam, I am to acknowledge your letter of Monday and Tuesday: I have enclosed with my own handwriting Mrs. Jordan's letter to [[unclear]] relative to pressing the discharge of the man from the Roscommon Militia I cannot obtain it: the Commander in Chief has it not in his power: the Colonel of the Regiment is the only person who can give this man his discharge and I do not know any of the Field Officers.
