William is sending, enclosed, a copy, in his handwriting, of a letter Mrs Jordan wrote to William asking him to help discharging a man from the Roscommon Militia. William, however, has not been able to do so since that power lies in the hands of the Colonel of the Regiment.
The children are well and send best wishes.
