Mr. Greville trusts that this Explanation will account for the liberty of his late Address to Lord Liverpool, and that under it, this measure may be accounted for to his Lordship's satisfaction. He owns He feels anxiously & most painfully the intended removal of so old & attached Servant in The King's Family as He has been, & where his long and faithful Services have, through His Majesty's gracious favor and confidence, been extended, beyond the mere duties of a Court Attendance.
