unexpectedly and in this Manner. Being at this time in waiting on His Majesty at The Queen's Lodge at Windsor, I received His commands by His Page, to wait upon Him in his Apartment -- When there His Majesty after a short general conversation asked Me" if I had any Wish to be in Parliament To this question so suddenly imparted, I answered, that since I had ceased to be Member for Warwick, that I had never entertained a Wish to be again returned to Parliament -- On this His Majesty was pleased to say, that if I still had any inclination He thought there was an opportunity for Me to be returned for Windsor at the ensuing General Election, as the Parties, who had lately so strenously
