[[underline]] Narrative [[/underline]] My Appointment [[underline]] as Equerry to The King, [[/underline]] was announced to me by the following Letter to me, from His Grace the Duke of Montagu, at that time Master of the Horse to [[underline]] His Majesty. [[/underline]] Whitehall June 16th [[underline]] 1781. [[/underline]] Sir/ I am honored with The King's Commands to acquaint You, that His Majesty is graciously pleased to appoint You one of His Equerries. I desire you to believe me, that I have great pleasure in congratulating You on the occasion. I am, with great regard & Esteem Sir, Your Faithful Humble Servant signed-- [[underline]] Montagu.
