had been sent Prisoner into Denmark made his Escape from thence, & putting himself at the head of the Dalicarlians drove him out of Sweden-- which was ever since, breavely maintained to independency of Denmark--the Hatred of his own Subjects having in the mean time encreased against Christian & a Rebellion broke out in 1523--This obliged him to fly to the Netherlands and the Danes chose Frederick Duke of Holsteen his paternal Uncle in his stead--
