The pious Christian, in edifying, and still retirement, though shunned by the voluptuous, and the gay, envies not their boasted happiness. Though placed in solitude, he is not alone: he enjoys the Company of those, who are not to be found upon the Theatre of the world, and in conversing with whom, he receives the purest satisfaction. These enliven the departing hours; and when they are fled away, they leave a sweet 6
