Windsor Novbr 1794. [[note]] 24 [[/note]] Much dissatisfied about it. He recomends Grl Abercrombie to succeed him for the Present, as a Man greatly beloved by the Army. Personaly to the Duke Mr Pitts letter is very Respectfull, & He laments much that the Public Business requires such a Step to be taken. The Kgs Answer says that though Mr Pitts proposal is very disagreable to Him, He [[deletion]] N [[/deletion]] does notwithstanding His private feelings upon the Occasion agree to recall the Duke. But His Majesty lays the Chief blame of the Dukes Distresses upon all the other allied Powers, saying that the Treachery of Prussia, the inactiveness of the Dutch & the Tardiness of Austria are the foundation of all the disastres of this Campaign. He also bids that His Electoral Troops shall only be under the command of Count Wallmoden & never be sent to France
