Windsor October. 1794. [[note]] 12 [[/note]] at the Head of the Hanoverians in the Evening the Kg told me that He had aided to what I had seen in the Morning, that if any Civilian was Necessary to be sent over to Holland, it should be Mr Windham. In the Afternoon the Kg received a Letter from the Duke of York informing him of His safe arrival with all the Troops at Nimegen where are His Head Quarters. The Kg told Us that Mr William Finch 4th Son to the Dowager ldy Aylsford Dyed 4 days ago of an Apoplectic Fit. He was made an Admiral in the last promotion of June.
