London June 1794 [[note]] Wednesday 4th [[/note]] This being the Kgs Birth Day we went to breakfast at 9. the P. of W. & Duke of Clarence were there. Afterwards there came many other People, Grl Bude & Goldsworthy. at 10 we went to dress. at 1/2 past 11 we saw the Duke of Glocester & His Daughter. at 1/2 past 12 we went to St James. at one the Guns were Fired, at1/2 past one. I went into the state Dressing room at 3 I saw the Bishops & then went into the Drawing room from which we did not return till 7. then we saw the Procession of the Mail Coaches, dined at St James. at Coffe saw ldy Charlotte Finch, went into the Ballroom 1/2 past 9 & returned from thence by 12. came to the Q.H by 1/2 past 12. Supped & retired at one. Ldy Cardigan & Lrd Boston. were the Lrd & Ldy in Waiting [[note]] Thursday 5th [[/note]] This Morning we dressed Early & at 12 a Clock we we to St Margates
