I read with the Princesses till past 10. & then they went to their rooms & I read & wrote till one. then Dressed at 2 ldy Elgin came & staid till 4. when we went to Dinner. after Coffe we went up Stairs read & wrote till 8 when the Kg came Music begun & we played at Cards till 11. Supped & retired 1/4 before 12. Our party was The Dutchess of Leeds, Ldys Chesterfield, Grenvill, Courtown, Ldy Jane Dundas, Ldy Frances Howard, Ldy Bulkley, Ldy Charlotte Finch, Mrs Howe.
