London May 1794. Coffe we went Up Stairs read & worked till 8. When the Kg came He Saw Field Marshall for a moment & then the Music begun we played at Cards till 11 & retired without Supping. Our Party was. Ldys Cardigan - Powlett, Chatham, Beverley Ldy Georgina Leveson, Ldy Mary Howe, Ldy Pitt, Mrs Howe, Mrs Stanhope, Ldy Bulkley, Ely, Ldy Jane Dundas, & Mr Stanhope. [[note]] Fryday 16th [[/note]] we did not go to Windsor to Day on account of some particular business which demanded the Kgs presence in Town. we all walked after Breakfast, at 11 I came in read & worked till one when I dressed, afterwards saw the P.W. Duke of Clarence & ldy Elgin, the Kg came from St James by 4. we went to Dinner
