London January 1794. [[note]] 27th [[/note]] Ldy Dorothea Hobbart Sister to the last Earl Buckinghamshire. by whom He had an only Daughter. who survives him. His brother The Bishop of Cloyer in Ireland Succeeds Him in His Yorkshire Estate. [[note]] Tuesday 28th [[/note]] This Morning The Kg received an account of the death of the Earl of Pembroke, at Wilton His Estate in Wiltshire. [[deletion]] He was [[/deletion]] on [[deletion]] the [[/deletion]] Sunday the 26th. He was Lord Lieutenant of the County of Wilts. Governor of Portsmouth, a General in the Army & Colonel of the is 1st Regiment of Dragoons & High Steward of Salisbury. He Married in the year 1756 Ldy Elyzabeth Spencer Daughter of the late & Sister to the Present Duke of Marlborough by whom He had one Son Lord Herbert who succeeds to the Earldom of Pembroke [[deletion]] He [[/deletion]] The 1st Regiment of Dragoons the Kg has given to Grl Goldsworthy. & the Government of Portsmouth to Grl Sr William Pitt.
