To Day Lrd Stanhope made His Motion for Recognizing the French Republic which was Negatived almost Universally. Mrs Brudenel My Bedchamber Woman had an Audience to acquaint me of Her Son Mr Robert Brudenel my Equerries intended Match with a Miss Coke. The Presentations at the Drawing Room were Lrd John Thynn.
