London January 1794 then the Kg came & we went to play at Cards [[note]] 15th [[/note]] the Party was. Ldys Cardigan, Ailesbury, Chatham, Ldy Charlotte Finch, Lady Frances Howard, Mrs Howe & Mrs Stanhope. The Duke of Montrose, Lrd Chesterfield, & Grls Goldsworthy & Budé. we played till a ¼ before 11. then Supped & retired at ½ past 11. [[note]] Thursday 16th [[/note]] We Breakfasted at 9. The Kg went to Kew Princess Royal & Sophia & Mary walked [[deletion]] & I staid [[/deletion]] & so did Amelia & I staid with Elysabeth & Augusta at Home. at 12. I saw Ldy Frances Howard, & they Princesses went to Dance with their Dancing Master. at ½ past one I saw Ldy Bath at 2. Lady Charlotte Finch. I dressed & afterwards Mr de Luc read to me till 4. when the Kg returned from Kew. we went to Dinner ½ past 5. after Dinner we drank Caffe, & at a ¼ past 6 we & all the Princesses went to Covent Garden Play House to see the Comedy of Errors & the New Pantomime of Dr Faustus we returned by ¼ before 11. Supped & retired ½ past 11. The Kg Lrd of the Bed Chamber in waiting was Lord Faulconberg. My Ldy in waiting Ldy Cardigan with the Elder Princesses Ldy Caroline Waldegrave, & with the Younger Princesses Ldy Frances Howard.
