Windsor January. 1794 [[note]] Wednesday. 8th [[/note]] saw ldy Elgin till ½ past one, then came Augustus, then I dressed, after Dressing I saw Princess Royal, Prince Adolphus & Mr de Luc. at 4. we Dined after Dinner went Upstairs, drunk Coffe & then worked & Mr Guiffardier read till ¼ before 8. The Kg returned from Town after 8. then the Music begun, we drunk Tea, & Played at Cards Lrd Walsingham, ldys Courtown & Cathcart were of the Party we went to Supper by ¼ before ii, & retired by ¾ past 11. [[note]] Thursday 9th [[/note]] Breakfasted at 9. P. Sophia of Glocester did not come to Breakfast, the Kg went out on Horseback as usual & we went Upstairs, I wrote & read till one. then Dressed, the Kg [[deletion]] staid [[/deletion]] came home & staid with me till near 3. then I saw Augustus & Mr de Luc. at 4 we Dined after Coffee all the Princesses & ldy Harcourt ldy Frances Bruce & ldy Caroline Waldegrave
