Greeting Whereas in Consideration of the [[unclear]] Love and Affection [[unclear]] Wee bear forward & the Queen our most Dearly beloved Consort and for the better Support of her Royal Duty Wee were Graciously pleased to Grant and Allow unto her a Sum Annuity or yearly pension of fforty Thousand pounds of Lawful money of - Great Britain to be Issued and payable unto her said Majesty at the Receipt of Our Exchequer out of Our - Civil List Reviewed Now Know Ye that Wee of our Especial Grant retain Knowledge and mere Quotion - have Given and Granted and by these presents Do Give and Grant unto our said most Dearly beloved - Consort Queen Charlotte a yearly Sum Annuity or Pension of Ten Thousand Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain in Addition to Our said former Grant of fforty Thousand Pounds by the Year the same to commence from the ffifth day of July One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty two and from thence to be payable and paid quarterly by four Even and Equal portions at the - Receipt of our Exchequer at Westminster at the Usual Days of Payment in the Year out of any Our Treasure or Revenue that shall from time to time be and Remain there Applicable to the uses of Our Civil Government The first quarters' payment of Two Thousand ffive Hundred - Pounds' to be Issued and Paid on the Tenth day of October these next Ensuing To have hold Receive and Enjoy to Our said Most Dearly - beloved Consort the said Yearly Sum of Ten Thousand Pounds in manner aforesaid during Our Royal pleasure And wee do hereby - Authorize Require and Command the Commissioners of Our Treasury or any Three or more of them and our High Treasurer Chancellor - and under Treasurer of Our Exchequer for the time being that they do cause the said further Yearly Sum Annuity or pension of Ten - Thousand Pounds to be Issued and Applyed in manner aforesaid to Our said Most Dearly beloved Consort or to her Treasurer for the - time being for her Use And these our Letters' patent or the Inrollment or Exemplification thereof further with the Acquittance or Acquittances of Our Most Dearly Beloved Consort or her Treasurer [[unclear]] the Receipt or Receipts of any Sum or Sums of money in Pursuance of this Our Grant shall be Good and Sufficient Disclosure for the Payment thereof And Wee do hereby Direct and Grant that such Payment to shall be Allowed upon the Respective Account or Accounts of such Officer or Officers' Paying the same without any further or other warrant or Authority to be had or obtained from Us or from Our Commissioners' of Our Treasury or Our High Treasurer for the time being or - otherwise howsoever And Wee do hereby further direct and command that our Commissioners of Our Treasury or Our High Treasurer Chancellor and Under Treasurer of Our Exchequer now and for the time being and all other Our Officers and [[unclear]] to allow it shall or may Appertain shall when and as often as it shall be Desired by Our said most Dearly Beloved Consort or by her Treasurers or Counsels be done any Act or thing for the due and just payment of the said Yearly Sum Annuity or Pension of Ten Thousand - Pounds or any Arrears there of either by Issuing of Warrants or Orders or by Levying of Tallies' of Pro or other Tallies' or otherwise according to the Time Intent and meaning of these presents and during the Continuance of the same And Lastly wee do hereby -- Grant and Declare that these our Letters Patent or the Inrollment or Exemplification thereof shall be Good Valid and Effectual in the Law to all Intents and Purposes and shall be taken Construed and Adjudged in all Our Courts and Elsewhere in the most beneficial - Sense for the best Advantage of Our said most Dearly Beloved Consort according to Our Royal Intention and meaning herein - before Expressed Notwithstanding any Omission Imperfection Defect matter Cause or thing whatsoever to the contrary there of in any - wise Notwithstanding In Witness whereof Wee have caused these Our Letters to be made perfect Witness our self at Westminster.
