Him that He had had the pleasure of seeing his Sons The Prince of Wales & The Duke of York, that the meeting had been cordial & most satisfactory & that by his own desire, He had seen them in The Queen's Apartment -- He expressed a Wish to see Him & Mr. Pitt, & that without entering deeply on business He was anxious to know a little more than He now knew, of what had been doing during his Illness -- This was the general purport of The King's Letter to The Chancellor - & most probably a similar one was sent to Mr Pitt at the same time. This has been a rather trying day for H.My: & I find from Colonel Digby, that to Him He afterwards appeared hurried, & this I learn likewise from other Quarters. All this points out the necessity of great caution in bringing on business or other subjects which may be likely to agitate his mind. There can be no occasion to hurry Him for I know [[underline]] from Himself, [[/underline]] that He has wished to go on progressively, & I likewise have understood, that He has dwelt forcibly on this Himself to Mr Pitt. This Evening We saw H. My. as usual in the Antiroom He remained but a short time in conversation with Us as both Dr Willis & his Son Dr John Willis by their looks and manner hurried Him -- This He perceived as well as We did, & taking the hint He left Us soon.
