[[/underline]] - He then went up Stairs -- From Their Royal Highnesses Colonel Digby learnt that The King had cried much on his first receiving Them - An Impulse aimiably natural, & therefore pardonable, tho' against the general maxim of His August Family. This Evening I received two Letters -- The one addressed to The Chancellor - The other to Mr. Pitt. both wrote by The King, with [[underline]] his [[/underline]] commands to send them directly to Town to their Addresses, by a Groom. I dispatched them accordingly about 8 o'clock. At 11 oClock I received The Chancellor's Answer, directed to the King, & I found that Mr. Pitt had sent ^ [[addition]] his [[/addition]] Answer by a Messenger of his own to Lady Charlotte Finch. I have understood that H.My. had complained, that the suspence He was in form not knowing what was now going forward, & The Chancellor not chusing to give Him that information, disturbed Him much - He had therefore wrote these two Letters to desire their Attendance here tomorrow -- This I learnt from Colonel Digby --
