He had made Himself appear worse to Him than He really had been – The Chancellor was not well pleased with the appearance of his Countenance, & did not think it that of so much health as it had been represented by The Physicians. During this Conversation The King seem'd to wish to talk of the Parliament, but this Subject was parried – Nobody was present at this Interview, but The Rev'd Mr. Willis. The Queen walked this morning around Kew Gardens with The King, accompanied bu Dr. Willis's Sons – At Her return I had the honor of Landing Her upstairs – Her My. made no mention of The King – She observed only on the state of the Weather, that it was very windy and cold, & that She should not have gone out, if The Kings had not Expected Her – After this I went to The Pages Room, where I met Mr. Dundas of Richmond – He desired to speak to me in the next Room. He had seen the King the preceding Night, & from what He had then seen He was now uneasy & perplexed what to do. He wished the circumstances to be noted, & yet He was afraid to communicate Them to any on, who might quote Him, or talk of Them – He then in confidence told me that He had by no means been satisfied last night with The King's manner, & [[underline]] that He had found Him very much disturbed [[/underline]]. He took off a blue Ribbon from a Compass & put on another – Then giving Mr Dundas a significant look He kissed the Ribbon, & put it by in a Drawer - This marked
