The kindness with which She was received, & the composure which She saw, dissipated Her alarm, & She reported that the King had talked very collectedly, & more so, than She had any idea of_ In the Evening Dr. Willis brought The Queen, The Princess Royal & Princess Augusta to pay a Visit to the King in his apartment_ The Queen played at Picquet with Him_ PFs. Augusta at his request read part of The Life of Handel to Him. This Interview lasted an hour & a Quarter_ On their retiring The King came with The Queen to The Door of the Antiroom & there He took his leave of Her_ On the whole, from all that I have been able to collect, this seems to have been among the very best days He has passed since He has been at Kew In the course of this day The Bishop of Worcester came to Kew, & saw the Queen_ Dr. Giborne did not see the King this Night.
