My: becoming more loud & impatient under this lecture, Dr. Willis ordered a Handkercheif to be held before His mouth, & He then continued & finished his lecture. H. My: did not walk this morning, but had an Emetic given to Him. Another new Keeper was introduced this day ([[underline]] Cox [[/underline]]). This evening at 3 oclock a deputation from the House of Lords, & from The House of Commons, came to Kew with Their Addresses to The Queen. From the House of Lords, Lord Waldegrave & Lord Ailesbury attended. From The House of Commons The Hon. Mr. John Villiers Colonel Manners, Mr Howard, & Lord Courtown. The Queen on this occasion returned the following answer. [[underline]] "My Duty & Gratitude to The King & the sense "I must ever entertain of my great obligations to this "Country, will certainly engage my most earnest attention "to the anxious & momentous Trust, intended to be "reposed in me by Parliament.
