I was this morning taken by surprise by His Majesty, who unexpectedly came to walk before the House, e'er I had the least notice of such Intentions. I was at this time walking in front of the House myself & alone, when I was called to by one of The Pages for the key of Richmond Gardens as He told me it was wanted for the King.
