I was summon'd about one oclock by a Visitor in the next room. It was Sir William Faucett. He came to make enquiries of H. My:s health. I shewed Him the Bulletin of the day, after reading it He asked me if the favorable accounts of Saturday remained to this time. I told Him, that as usual there had been ups & downs, & that at present there were thoughts of the Kings walking out this morning. After this Sir William enquired for Doctor Willis, who He said He did not know, but was desirous of delivering compliments to Him from Lady Faucett. I told Him I would go out & look for Doctor Willis. I found Him & it was then that I [[underline]] first [[/underline]] learnt from Him, that the King was just that moment gone out a walking, & that He had not called me to attend Him as He thought He might have schemes to propose to me in his Walks. I introduced Doctor Willis to Sir William Faucett, & who learnt from Him that The King was then taking his Walk. Sir William now mentioned to Doctor Willis the great satisfaction which the People in Town had experienced from the very favorable Accounts of last Saturday. Doctor Willis replied that it had been an uncommon good day, & that He had no doubt but what this Evening would prove as good a one. [[underline]] "He thought so" [[/underline]] -- After this Sir William took his leave & returned to Town & I came back to General Gordon who I had left in the Library. & I brought with me Dr. Willis to Him, & who, after a short Visit, left us--
