Groom of the Bedchamber Sir Philip Hales then in Waiting for Her Majesty's Inspection by Dr Willis He told Him, that The King was quite composed & that He had of Himself approved of the coercion used last night for his control, & that He had Expressed a Wish that no one should go into His room but Himself & his Son, & that Sir George Baker & Dr. Gisborne had consented & did not go in -- This intimation Sir Philip Hales communicated to the Queen, who desired Him to Enquire particularly [[underline]] if [[/underline]] the Physicians named, [[underline]] had consented not to go in, & to let Dr. Willis & His Son Dr. John Willis go in Exclusively. [[/underline]] Sir Philip Hales seeing Dr Willis first, He asked Him respecting the proposition He had mentioned to Him, as coming from the King. His answer was that [[underline]] Sir George Baker had heard the King say so, [[/underline]] & that He had consented -- Sir George Baker soon after came into The Room by Himself, & not having heard this least of these prior conversations, & not knowing at the time that The Queen had sent to fix their accuracy, He was asked ^[[addition]] by Sir Philip Hales [[/addition]] if He, Sir George Baker, had heard the King say, [[underline]] that He wished only Doctor Willis & his Son to go in, & if He had given his consent [[/underline]] -- Sir George Baker answered, [[underline]] that He had not heard [[/underline]]
