He was turbulent & distracted & had not above Two hours sleep. At one time during the course of the Night it became necessary to put Him under coercion. [[underline]] Tuesday Decr.23d. [[/underline]] In the Morning H.My. became more composed, but rose late -- The Blisters were still alluded to as a cause of his late irritabilities -- They were now in a state of considerable discharge -- In the disturbance of this Night the dressings had been tore off, & the Blisters in consequence [[unclear]] Whatever may have caused late Irritation, it is not unlikely, that the Blisters in such state, [[underline]] threatening a Sore [[/underline]] & under such Usage, may have increased Them greatly -- During this day H.My. was very high, but good humoured & occasionally touchy -- A Couch was brought into his room to raise his legs on, but He was too riotously inclined to stay long on it, & at last He became so troublesome, that Coercion was resorted to, & He was confined on the Couch during part of the day, & of the Evening -- About 7 oClock it was proposed that He should go to bed -- He objected & resisted much - but was undressd & bound down in bed in a strait Waiscoat - His spirits were at this time very Extraordinary, He was not violent - Neither did his Situation, and his restraint seem to press uncomfortably on Him, and now as He lay stretch'd out on his Bed, [[underline]] He sang.
