Morning of, [[underline]] Monday Decr.22d. - [[/underline]] The King was now obliged to be managed at times with great caution to prevent his flying out - On the whole however He was good humoured & sometimes jocose - In the Evening Dr. Willis said [[underline]] He thought He now saw a road [[/underline]] which led Him to the way home - but this allusion He did not explain. H.My. was shaved this Morning an operation He submits to not very readily - Doctor Willis still mentions the uneasiness H. My. experiences Yet from the Blisters - & which seem now to be discharging More than Usual - Mr. Dundas & Mr. Charles Hawkins who have principally attended to them find however that there was no inflammation beyond the Marks left by the Blisters -- During this day H.My. continued a little ticklish & He was obliged to be managed by The Attendants very attentively. He took a dislike to the Picture which hung in his room - It was the School of Florence by Zoffany - He had it immediately off the Nails on the Floor, before He was perceived to be busy with it -- The Picture was directly removed into the Next room - In the Evening H. Mys. Spirits rose as his bedtime approachd. With Me this always indicates the chances of a bad Night, & the report of this Night, has not contradicted My general Observation -
