[[underline]] continued now three months without relief & The only one in Waiting [[/underline]] On Sir Philip Hales's report, Her My is said to have wished that hence forward the Physicians attendance should not be so regular [[underline]] in turn, [[/underline]] but that Dr. Gisborne should be the only Physician to remain Every Night, & the others should change their Visits to a Weekly one -- [[underline]] Thursday Decr. 18th. [[/underline]] This Morning by Her Majesty's commands Sir Philip Hales was dispatched Early to The Chancellor - Sir P.H. called on General Harcourt in Town & took Him with Him - In the course of this day Dr. Willis desired I would through one of the Queen's Ladies ask Her Mys permission to go to Town for a few hours - The Queen sent Him word by Me, that unless He had particular business She wished He would not go that Morning. About dinner time the Prince of Wales arrived - He saw the Queen - & when He came down stairs to our Apartment He called out Sir Lucas Pepys into the next room staid some little time with Him, & then returned to Town to dinner -- This Evening I saw the King but I was not in the room with Him - appeared more deliberate in his Conversation, & did not hurry it so much as usual -- He was occupied at his Table & He appeared good humoured & cheerful but the turn of his conversation I could not think amended.
