& H. My. has been put under Coercion in the course of this evening [[underline]] Wednesday Decr 17th [[/underline]] H: My continued turbulent this morning but in the evening of this day He became more composed. It is a curious circumstance that this day after three o'clock Mr. Pitt after He had carried his majority in the House of Commons read at Whites a letter from Dr. Willis mentioning very favorable accounts tho' in fact at the time it was read H. My. happen'd to be most turbulent. Since my arrival at Kew I have found considerable [[unclear]] & strong symptoms of those prevailing jealousies among the medical corps, of which I had received reports e'er I left Town; much bustle also seems to have extended to other parts of the establishment. This night I learnt that some of the Pages had censured Dr. Warren for going into The King's Apartment this morning after H My. had inclined to go to sleep having experienced a turbulent night. Dr. Warrens reason for seeing the King was that He did not chuse to take his opinions from the Pages reports. This I understand was complained of & by the Queens Commands Sir Philip [[unclear]] His Majesty's Groom of the Bedchamber in waiting at Kew made enquiries of the Pages respecting this difference. The new system of attendance at Kew brought [[deletion]] [[unclear]] [[/deletion]] H. Mys. [[underline]] Grooms [[/underline]] ^ [[addition]] of The Bedchamber [[/addition]] in waiting for Two weeks ^ [[addition]] each [[/addition]] when He was ^ [[addition]] to be [[/addition]] relieved. [[underline]] Sir Philip Hales, General Lascelles, ^ [[addition]] Gen. Gordon & Gen Harcourt [[/underline]] succeeded in these alternate Duties. My [[underline]] duty as Equerry
