His Supper a little rice & Milk was now brought to Him -- I pressed Him to Eat it, but He talked on & deferred until it had become nearly cold - He desired it might be warmed & sent Me on this Errand, as He would not permit his Page to touch it - I was obliged to avail Myself of this opportunity of releasing Myself, as The Physicians had already sent for Me to leave his Apartment. As soon as I came from The King, the Prince of Wales sent for me & intimated to Me, that it was a measure now fixed to try to remove H.My. to Kew the next day, & that He had appointed [[underline]] General Harcourt, Colonel Goldsworthy & Myself, [[/underline]] to take the charge of Him on the road -- His Royal Highness was at the same time pleased to give Me full directions how We were to Act The Queen was to remove to Kew before H.My. Whose removal was not intended before 5 oClock in order to prevent his being seen by any crowd -- This & Every preparatory caution was consider'd, & Every chance of possible Exposure of any kind, was carefully obviated in the general arrangements. [[/underline]] All preparations for H.Ms. removal being made The intentions were gradually & cautiously mentioned to Him -- but the King most stoutly objected to Every hint for his removal, & He would not get up.
