Himself inspired &c &c. Before H.My. retired to rest this Evening He was in good spirits & Jocose -- This Evening He went through the Prayers with Mr. Majendie very well. [[underline]] Sunday Novr.23d [[/underline]] During last night H.My. had several hours sleep, tho' altogether He passed a disturbed Night. He got out of bed more than once during the Night & when in bed, & asleep, still appeared agitated. He rose at 7 oClock this Morning in consequence of a plan & of which He had informed Genl. Budé & Myself to see The Princesses walking in the Garden as He had understood that they took their Walk, before He got up in the Morning -- He had not the opportunity He hoped for of seeing his Daughters, but He saw his Horses at Exercise in the Home Park, & with which He was delighted. About 10 oClock I attended H. Mys. summons to his apartment - I found Him much deranged, & very loquacious very hurrying in Conversation & giving all a variety of Orders -- Poor Goldsworthy still the Object of his animadversions, & Myself the favorite - H.My. questiond, Me very closely, if I had obey'd his commands of last Night with respect to Coln. Goldsworthy & Dr Warren -- I was ordered to have two particular Colts caught up & shod, & these to be sent to London -- He then turned to Ernest, one of his Pages, & gave Him in a breath a profusion of Orders - Ernest answered that He could not
