I fear much just now from flurry of new Subjects, considering as I do, that much is on a very nice balance at present, with our Dear King. Throughout the whole of this day H.M. has continued talking & incessantly on greater variety of Subjects than before, but does not dwell long on any, tho' He often comes back to the same - On whatever subject He talks, He connects circumstances still with tolerable precision, as well as Situations_ Mentioning [[underline]] Uxbridge [[/underline]] this day, He included [[underline]] Denham [[/underline]] & that neighbourhood accurately. He has spoke much this day of his recovery, observing (Poor Man) that He has been very ill, but that He is well now, & says that He has been lightheaded_ Among many directions which have occupied Him, He desired Coll. Goldsworthy today to go to Eton to get the Boys a holiday on account of his recovery - To prepare The Queen for the firing of the Guns at 12 oClock on the same occasion, & ordering the Dettingen Te Deum to be sung in Church &c &c. In the Evening sensible [[underline]] (without prompting) [[/underline]] that He was talking very fast, He altered & spoke in the third Person - [[underline]] "The King did so - The King thinks so" [[/underline]] &c. This correction He thus Explained, [[underline]] "I speak in the third "person, as I am getting into Mr Burke's Eloquence, saying "too much on little things" [[/underline]] This led Him to mention Lord Liverpool, & The Chancellor, [[underline]] "I like said H.My. the latter best, "tho' He was in opposition for a short time, but then it was only [[/underline]]
