[[/underline]] Three quarters of an hour after this, He became quite recollected, during which time the opportunity was taken of making Him more comfortable, by changing the Sheets & Blankets, & at which He Expressed much satisfaction. Immediately after He was put to bed, & sitting up in it, He talked of being shaved & proposed to clean his mouth. Water being brought to Him for this purpose He did it as well as could be, washing his mouth & gargelling his throat as well Ever in his usual habits. At this time He appeared to be more collected than I had seen Him since his illness begun - He asked how many days He had been confined to his bed, looked round at his Attendants with attention, & smiled, & nodded to Them frequently -- He then laid down & said it was most comfortable to get clean things, & then recollecting Himself He desired He might change his linnen - All this He did as well as could be, & on one of his Pages offering to assist Him in putting on his flannel Waiscoat He said, " [[underline]] No Sir, I can do [[/underline]]
