Short Memorandums connected with My Cavalry Establishment when [[underline]] Equerry to The King [[/underline]] The subject of falls, leads Me to mention the Extraordinary circumstance, that during the [[underline]] 16 years & a 1/2 [[/underline]] that I had the honor of attending His Majesty as Equerry, neither Myself, or My Groom, have to record one single fall - & besides, [[underline]] None of My Horses [[/underline]] during that period, Ever came down, [[underline]] Either with Me, or with My Groom [[/underline]] -- More need not be mentiond to mark [[underline]] their [[/underline]] credit, but independent of that, due credit should be placed to the Account of long continued [[underline]] good luck [[/underline]] -- My duties of Equerry to The King and which for several latter years occupied Me during the Months, of [[underline]] January, February and March, [[/underline]] required a large Establishment of prime Horses -- These I procured at My own Expence -- My Complement consisted always of [[underline]] Four Hunters, & two Good Hackneys [[/underline]] - and generally there was full work Enough for them all -- The [[underline]] primest [[/underline]] Hunters among the prime was My Capital & [[underline]] Rapid Roan, [[/underline]] called [[underline]] Champion [[/underline]] - and My Chesnut
