Road before The King's Horse, & The Hand Bells rung their merriest peel - while The Bells in all the Villages through which He passed in this Neighbourhood, resounded in their successive changes, & vibrated in the air, a hearty Welcome -- A Visit to the Stables to Enquire into the general State of the Cavalry, preceded His Majestys Walk on the Terrace this Evening - & in which He was accompanied by The Queen & The Princesses. This Evening I received a Note from General Johnston, acquainting Me that He was then at Salt Hill - but as His Majesty had this Morning desired me to stay [[underline]] until Friday next, [[/underline]] I desired General Johnston [[underline]] not [[/underline]] to come to Windsor, as His Majesty's late Intimation to Me, would release Him from attendance until Friday next & that He might consider Himself ^ [[addition]] [[underline]] at liberty [[/underline]] [[/addition]] to go to Town or Elsewhere, until that time, as might best suit his own convenience --
