After Dinner The Terrace invited Him to his accustomed Walk, & where this Evenings crowds were waiting to see Him & The Royal Family. In the Evening Mr Burton again appeared in The Music Room. This Night has decided My Opinions on his merits -- The opportunity occurred when He [[deletion]] told Her [[/deletion]] [[addition]] said [[/addition]], He would give Her Majesty a Specimen of the best French Music, that had Ever been adapted to a Song -- He announced this Specimen by the well known name of [[underline]] Iphigenie. [[/underline]] He began by reading the Words to Her Majesty, in order that She might be the better Enabled to judge of the Excellence of the Music, as adapted to Them -- None in the room I am sure were more attentive than I was at this time - for [[underline]] Iphigenie [[/underline]] had been my [[underline]] Early [[/underline]] favorite, & Every word, still brought back Ideas, that [[underline]] were past & gone [[/underline]] --
