Sir Williams House is situated in a flat - It is an Old Mansion - whose Windows are quite in the Old fashion stile, with Stone Mullions. As is usual such Visits, Their Majesties went over [[underline]] Every [[/underline]] part of this House-- They staid some time in the Library which Her Majesty examined with some attention - I likewise indulged Myself with an occasional peep among its contents-- The Collection was on mixed Subjects - History, & French Novels, were principally conspicuous on the Shelves -- The latter were in general of good & Select Authors -- Her Majesty in passing quickly over Their Names, observed on some, & approved of others. With distinction She mentioned Madame de Sevignés letters, whose manner of relating trifling circumstances, She observed made Them interesting & pleasing to The Reader -- The Trout Stream which runs by
