P: 62-68. Jan: 29 Wedy: H: M: took Jalap gr. [[foreign: Latin]] mane et prandendi tempora [[/foreign: Latin]] To the Q.C. H:M: slept 3½ hours yesty. before His dinner. H:M: appear'd to be in good humour & free from irritation; but was more than usually occupied wth the creations of His own fancy. It was not till after 5p.m. that Dr Heberden made Himself known to H.M. The K: rec'd Him with great Kindness but betray'd many of the erroneous ideas wth wch His Mind was possessed. It may be considerd as at once a mark of H: M:s temper & of His decreasing animosity against Dr J.W: that during this interview H:M: permitted Dr W: to correct His misconception of the time of ye year without any mark of displeasure. H:M: pass'd ye night less quietly than the preceding night, & got no sleep till a quarter before 6 this morning fm wch time H:M: slept till 7; H:M: spoke to us in perfectly good humour this morning, but seemed to be engross'd wth ye objects of His disorder'd imagination in ye same manner as He was yesterday W.
