Jany.27. Monday. P. 72. To the Q.C. H.M. pass'd yesterday quietly. In the forenoon He slept about an hour & a quarter, & the remainder of the day He occupied with HIs harspichord, & in conversing with imaginary company. H:M: now & then talk'd to persons long since dead. His different meals He ate well. H:M: went to bed at the usual hour, & slept in the course of the night 3 ¾ hours; & amidst strong indications of error made 2 or 3 good observations about planting. He very soon call'd Himself for His harpsichord, upon wch we withdrew - M Baillie J. Willis R. Willis.
