Jan: 24. Friday. To the Q.C. - P.64 -- The K: was more than usually silent yesterday, but when H:M: talk'd He appeared to be occupied with the company of His distemper'd Fancy. He did not dine heartily, but ate enough in the course of the day to [[unclear]] His tired & exhausted system. We had manifest proofs however in the evening of the debility which the late attack has occasioned. The K. went to bed before 9 oclock & said His prayers devoutly to all appearance as He had done in the morning. H.M. has not slept more than three hours - but there is less to regret in this as H:M: slept more than 5 hours in the preceding night.
