Sunday - Jan: 19th. To the Q.C. The K: slept until ¼11. viz 6 hours; but was so turbulent & ungovernable on awaking as to render the Restraint instantly necessary. H:M: has continued under controul until 7 am. having had sleep for one ½ hour more in the course of the night. We have the satisfaction of observing the Ks: countenance appear refreshed by His sleep & we were glad to learn that H:M: had taken a good breakfast, the first food He has permitted since His dinner on Friday -- Our interview was a short one, for the K: was too irascible to allow more than 2 questions to be asked Him -- We left H:Ms: room however, satisfied that the violence of the late accession was subsiding.
