Jan: 17th. Friday - P. 88. Hard. Eyes suffused - extremely sensible to light and noise - -- P.74 at 11 -- To The Q.C. H:M: took up His Rhapsody again after our visit yesterday, & continued to talk without interruption until 3½ this morning - The K: then slept for ½hour, & after a short interval of watch perhaps for 2½ hours more. The same state of excitement & irritability prevails this morning - but His M: talks in a less angry manner & we have found a moment at our interview in which we could prevail upon H:M: to take a medicine - H:Ms: countenance continues flushed - His pulse quick & His voice extremely hoarse - H Halford J. Willis R. Willis - note H:M: took Pulveris Opii gr ii. [[unclear]] gr [[unclear]] at 10 oclock, and again at 8p.m.
