Jany: 14 Tuesday - P.100 - To the Q.C. - H:M: remained in bed the whole of yesterday - He got 2 hours sleep about noon & for that time the excitement, wch had been very great in the morning, in some degree subsided - In the evening there were some intervals of greater stillness, tho' frequently interrupted by broken sentences, wch shew'd that the mind was even then actively [[unclear]]. Before night the talkativeness again increas'd, & has continued without any intermission - H:M: has had no sleep - His countenance is flushed, His pulse quick, & His conversation hurried & desultory, but not incoherent or angry. W.Heberden [[underline]] D. Dundas. [[/underline]] Between 8 & 9. the K: had Jalap: gr. iii [[unclear]] [[unclear]] gr i. Nausea apparently but no vomit - At dinner the K: had Beeftea [[unclear]] but nothing else. Bread & Milk, before 5. & soon after 5 fell asleep for 5 hours - Bread and Milk again afterwards No stool -
