Jan: 8th. Wednesday. P. from 74 to 80 - H:M: took of Calomel 3 yr: [[unclear]] gr: V. [[underline]] To the Q.C. [[/underline]] H:M: pass'd a very quiet day yesterday - He was frequently engag'd with His harpsichord, & amused Himself with talking principally on the subject of some projected military arrangements. If H:M:s manner was free from excitement & irritation it was on the other hand far remov'd from what was natural. H:M: slept about 2 hours in the course of the day, & an hour & a quarter in the night - At the time of going to bed H:M: display'd a more extravagant fit of anger than we have lately had occasion to notice, & during the night was more than usually occupied in adjusting the bed clothes. H:M: received me in good humour this morning, tho' He manifested considerable anger at having been as He was pleas'd to term it ill
