[[underline]] Dec: 31. [[/underline]] Tuesday. P. 80 - To the Q.C. H:M: pass'd a quiet day yesterday & in good humour, but with little character of His natural mind. Without much that can be specified the whole seem'd to be under the influence of disorder - H.M. slept at 3 difft. times in the evening not less that 3 1/2 hours - He slept again 2 hours in the night. This morning H:Ms: reception of us was free from anger; but His conversation in general trifling & unlike Himself; sometimes entering upon some little anecdotes, & sometimes lost in error.
