Dec: 29. [[underline]] Sunday. [[/underline]] Bulln: [[underline]] The K: [[/underline]] continues nearly in the same state P. 80. Tongue clean - Eyes vibrating [[underline]] To the Q.C.: [[/underline]] H:M: continued very long at dinner yesterday [[unclear]] a great deal of talking being mixed with it. He slept about 3/4 of an hour in the afternoon & remaind awake thro' the evening. During that time H:M. was constantly talking, partly in German & partly in English, but with less energy than in the early part of the day. The whole of His conversation was erroneous. H:M: went to bed at the usual hour without reluctance, & slept about 3 3/4 hours in the night. This morng. He recd: us in good humour, but it soon changed into a storm upon H:M: being told that some of the members of the Council were alive who, He thought, had been dead. MB. (Sign'd) M Baillie J.
