Dec: 13. - Friday - To the Qs: Council - The K: has not permitted us to form any judgement of the actual state of His bodily health this morning. On entering His chamber we found H:M: cover'd up under the bed clothes wch we have often observed to be an indicator of irascibility, & our questions were all answer'd by heavy denunciations. The K: slept only 1/2 an hour last night - but H:M: had had more than 4 hours sleep in the early part of the evening in His chair - after having dined sufficiently well.
