Dec: 11. - Wednesday - P. 88. Eyes in frequent motion but not suffus'd - tongue very clean. To the Queen's Council - H:M: pass'd upon the whole a pretty quiet day yesterday - but was occupied in a manner that had nothing of H:Ms: natural character - H:M: took His dinner without any previous ceremony. In the evening He slept an hour & a half at one time & again an hour before He retir'd to bed - but awoke an hour afterwards - & has had no sleep since. H:M: talk'd a good deal in the night, but was not turbulent. This morning H: Ms: conversation with us has been without anger, & with many expressions of kindness, but withal of too wild a character to bear any marks of reason, or to be capable of being led to any
